Support
Help WFO Fulfill our MissionThere Are Many Ways You Can Support WFO
Make a Lasting Gift: Consider Planned Giving
Providing for Western Field Ornithologists in your estate planning creates a timeless legacy, helping to ensure that the WFO mission in support of birds and their habitats continues to be supported for generations to come.
A planned gift can result in: (a) years of financial support; (b) development of new programs, studies and publications benefiting birds and their habitats; and (c) the opportunity to expand the overall scope and reach of WFO’s mission.
In general, planned gifts are made through:
- a bequest in a Will or Trust
- a Life Income Gift such as a pooled income fund, a charitable gift annuity, or a charitable remainder trust
- a gift(s) of special assets (real estate, closely held stock, life insurance, retirement accounts)
Contact WFO today about any questions you have or to learn more about how gift and estate planning can benefit you and nature. Your inquiry is always confidential.
WFO strongly recommends that each person considering a planned gift consult with his or her own attorneys, tax professionals and/or financial advisors.*

A donation to the Michael R. San Miguel Student Scholarship Fund will provide support for young birders to attend the annual WFO conference and to participate in workshops, field trips, a special reception and more.
