Donate to Cover Publication Costs

To meet the ever-rising costs of producing and distributing Western Birds, which can not be borne entirely by the membership, WFO asks authors to help defray the costs of publication. Acceptance of a manuscript is not contingent on payment of these charges; those who truly cannot afford them, such as students and young amateurs, may be excused—a partial payment is welcome if full payment is not possible. But professionals, those whose work is supported by grants, and Bird Records committees are expected to underwrite their page charges at the current rate of $30 per printed page.
