Following a long career in information technology and systems management, Char Glacy now devotes her time to travel, birding, and volunteer work. She spent over five years collecting, identifying, and logging botanical specimens for the San Diego Natural History Museum as part of the San Diego Plant Atlas. An avid birder, she served on the Palomar Audubon board of directors as conservation chair for a few years and continues to be secretary of San Diego Field Ornithology. Char is the chair of the WFO Tours and Expeditions Committee.
