WFO Member Discount for Colorado Field Ornithologists Convention

For five years, WFO has had a partnership with CFO that allows our members attend CFO conventions at the same rate as CFO members. This year’s CFO convention in Pueblo, May 19–23, features numerous full-day and half-day field trips plus two evening excursions for rails and owls. Also on the schedule are scientific sessions and a banquet with keynote speaker. (Above: Field trip at Tamarack Ranch State Wildlife Area, Logan County. Photo: Peter Gent)

Pueblo and the surrounding region host a wide variety of eastern and western bird species due to the proximity to the Central Flyway and its diverse habitats. The state list surpasses 515 species.

To learn more about CFO, visit the new CFO website. Also on the website are details about the convention, including accommodations.
